Tax Dollars at Work: Parcel Tax
On behalf of Pittsburg Unified School District's Board of Education, students, and staff, we would like to express our appreciation to the Pittsburg Community for supporting the 2008 Measure C Parcel Tax and considering Measure S on the November ballot. On Tuesday, November 8, 2016, all of the voters in the Pittsburg Unified School District will be asked to vote on Measure S. Measure S is a parcel tax that will provide the School District with a reliable, local source of funds for art, music and athletics. Measure S will replace the parcel tax approved by voters in 2008. It will last for seven years and requires a two-thirds voter approval for passage.
