I'm so happy to be starting my 15th year at Hillview and my 32nd year in the Pittsburg Unified School District! I graduated from St. Olaf College with a BA in Psychology and Religion and received my MS in Counseling and Mental Health and my PPS credential from California State University - Hayward (now it's called Cal State East Bay). I also have a Multiple Subjects teaching credential from St. Mary's College of California. In addition to my work at Hillview I serve as the Executive Secretrary for the California Association of School Counselors and work as an adjunct instructor supervising school counseling graduate students at Concordia University Irvine. I am married and have a step-son, a daughter and two dogs. I love living and working in Pittsburg and in my free time I enjoy camping with my family.
