• Why volunteer at Highlands Elementary?

At Highlands Elementary, we strive to support our scholars by creating the best possible learning experience for all our students. This is made possible by maintaining a positive environment, providing excellent programs, having events, services and materials that all students, staff and families can access and use. Please join our school community as a volunteer. You can truly be a positive difference in the lives of our scholars. We have many ways of being involved at the school. Fingerprinting and TB testing need to be on file in order to be in charge of a group of children at a school activity or event, volunteer inside a classroom, go on field trips, help with tutoring, join the Dads on Guard team, and many more. There are also other ways to serve the school community that do not require fingerprinting or a TB test, please contact your Parent Liaison to start getting involved with your child's schoool through volunteering.
