Ms. Matt

Welcome to Room 13!

My name is Ms. Matt, and I teach 2^nd grade. This is my 2^nd year as a Los Medanos Mustang. As a Bay Area native, I love bringing education to our community. 

One of my biggest passions in education is literacy. As someone who grew up in a literature-rich household, I am a firm believer that every child should have access to wonderful books and stories. Literacy unlocks many opportunities for our scholars and affects every area of their life. 

A little about me… when not teaching, I can probably be found at a coffee shop, doing photography, or looking for my next book. I hold a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Teacher Education and my California Multiple Subject Credential.
