Introduction

My name is Julia Francone and I will be the new Resource Teacher at Los Medanos Elementary School this year. I am excited to get to know all of you! I earned my bachelor's degree, double majoring in Music and Psychology, at University of San Diego. I then went on to earn my Preliminary Education Specialist credential at San Diego State University. I have volunteered in classrooms since I was 12 years old. I also worked as a substitute Para Educator for several years during college. As you can see, I have a lot of experience working with students, including students with disabilities. My interests outside of work include singing, playing the viola, hiking, and camping!

Mi nombre es Julia Francone y yo seré la nueva maestra de Recursos este año escolar. Estoy muy emocionada de conocer a las familias y estudiantes! Obtuve mi licenciatura en Música y Psicología, en la universidad de San Diego. Luego obtuve mi credencial de especialista en educación preliminar en la universidad estatal de San Diego. Me he ofrecido como voluntaria en las aulas desde que tenía 12 años. También trabajé como para-educadora suplente durante varios años. Como puede ver tengo mucha experiencia trabajando con estudiantes, incluidos estudiantes con discapacidades. Mis intereses fuera del trabajo incluyen cantar, tocar la viola, excursionismo, y acampada.
