Hi, I am Lilian Blade, the Preschool teacher at Parkside Elementary. I have been working in the Educational field for over 31 years. I started out as an assistant with the Pittsburg District then moved into a teaching position at the Martin Luther King Preschool/Day Care program within the same district. I have seen many changes throughout my career. I enjoy teaching my preschool families. I get to see most of them when they continue their education at Parkide and it brings a smile to my face when they come up to me and say "I wish, I was back in your class," this shows that I made an impression on them and their life. That to me is what makes teaching the best job to have.

With the start of our new school year in Distance Learning, it is most important to make as much of an impact in our families lives as possible through a computer. I will do my best to make you feel safe, cared about, listened to, and many other ways that will help you transition into a knowledgeable scolar. Our new school is still being worked on and will be ready when we return to inclass learning. Stay strong and remember Parkside Rules.
