Hello! My name is Laura Silva and I have had the privilege of teaching in the Pittsburg Unified School District for 15 years and at Parkside for 12 of those years. At Foothill Elementary I taught both 5th grade and 3rd grade. At Parkside I have taught 3rd grade for 12 years. 

Since teaching at Parkside, I have watched students grow and change. Nothing is more rewarding than having students who have moved on from Parkside come back to the school to stop by and say hello and tells me about all the things that they have done since they last saw me.

It is truly an honor and privilege to teach the students at Parkside!
