Stoneman's Student Council Body is a group of Kinder- 5th grade class representatives voted by their classmates and 3rd-5th grade officers elected by their peers in Preschool-5th grade. Students who want to run for office are required to demonstrate school spirit, leadership qualities, positive attitudes, and good citizenship before filling out a petition to run for office. They undergo the official voting process through which they campaign, deliver speeches, and are placed on a ballot. On Election Day, all Stoneman students vote on an online ballot. The elected officers along with class representatives meet monthly to organize and create new activites and events to make Stoneman a better place to learn.
