I am a first grade teacher at Los Medanos Elementary. I grew up in Martinez and went to school in Mount Diablo Unified School District. After high school, I went straight to Sonoma State University. I declared my major freshman year, because I knew what I wanted to be when I was 5. I was the first class to graduate with a newly declared major, "Early Childhood Studies" in 2015. After graduation, I decided to take two years off to travel the world. I have always loved to travel, mostly because I get to try new food! I decided in 2018 that it was time to get back into school so that I could become a teacher. I went to the University of San Francisco to earn my Master's Degree and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. This was such a special opportunity and I was able to meet some amazing people in the program. Quickly after graduation, I landed my dream job at Los Medanos. I have loved every minute of working at this school!
