Young Padilla, Marissa
Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Marissa Young-Padilla
Teaching in PUSD since 2006! Teaching in Kindergarten since 2017!
I cannot put into words how much I miss you all. Missing your faces, your smiles, your stories, your HUGS! I know this has been very challenging for you all as well. Please know that I am here to support you in any way I can. We really are in this together.
Hopefully you've had the opportunity to retrieve the work I left for each student at school the week after we were dismissed. And if you have online access, there are numerous resources I've made accessible through our Clever portal. In the next few weeks, you'll see resources linked here on my classroom page as well as to our Kindergarten page (still under construction). Use them in any way you are able to. If you have any questions about how to access, modify, adapt anything, please reach out to me.
For the duration of our distance learning, my office hours will be 10am-2pm.
The best way to communicate with me is to send me a message on Class Dojo or email me at
firstname.lastname@example.org I will do my best to respond within 24 hours.
I cannot wait to see you all in person when we are able to be together again.
Trimester 3 Report Cards
For the Trimester 3 report card, elementary students will receive third trimester marks of
- M for "Met Expectation"
- L/C for "Limited / No Contact"
The following are examples of ways that you can keep in contact:
1. Your student does work in Clever (which helps me track their work)
2. Send photos of completed work (including pictures they draw) in Class Dojo
3. Attend a Zoom meeting
4. Check in with me through your messages on Class Dojo
