Welcome! 

- I was born and raised in Oaxaca, Mexico.

- I worked for several years in community development with women and children in Oaxaca focusing on health and nutrition. 

- I learned English as an adult.

- I started studying early childhood education when my children were babies.

- I have been married to Chuck for 25 years and we have two children.  Rafael is 23 and graduated from college two years ago and is just starting his professional career. Raquel is 21 and in her fourth year of college. 

- I worked as an Instructional Aide for five (5) years for PUSD at Parkside, Willow Cove, and Foothill before becoming a teacher.

- This is my fifth year as a lead teacher at Stoneman.
