Mr. Gutridge

Hey Warriors!

My name is Mr. Gutridge and I have been teaching Science here at Hillview since 2015. As a former Hillview Warrior and Pittsburg Pirate, I know what it means to have Pittsburg Pride! I received my Bachelor's degree from THE University of California, Santa Barbara in Chemistry and have been using the knowledge gained there to make learning fun for my students. After school, you can also find me down at Pittsburg High at the Joseph Arenivar Baseball Field coaching the JV Pirates baseball team. 

 

My mission every year is to create an engaging and positive learning community for ALL students. In this class we will cover a variety of topics including: Earth's processes, living things and interactions in ecosystems, and chemical reactions! We may even learn a little bit about some of my favorites in music like The Beach Boys, Temptations, or Vulfpeck.
