Hello.  My name is Greg Hyland.  I have been teaching PE in Pittsburg Unified School District for 20 years.  I have had the pleasure to have taught at every level in the district. I grew up in Southern California and went to Chapman University in the city of Orange, CA.  While at Chapman I earned a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education.  Athletics has always been huge part of my life and I continue to have passion for the sporting world.

During this time of Remote Learning I want all of my students to make his/her health and well-being a priority, now more than ever.  This will be a new journey we will take together.  I'm sure there will be bumps in the road but I am certain we will all figure out this new normal and make it a success.  I look forward to the challenges this new school year will bring.
