Mrs. Burns-Tyeskey

Hello my name is Belinda Burns-Tyeskey and it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 21-22 school year at Martin Luther King Jr. Junior High School. I am a proud graduate of Pittsburg High School and it has been my honor to educate the scholars of PUSD for over 20 years.  This year I will be teaching 8th Grade History, 8th Grade AVID electiive and 7th Grade Math. 

I am so excited that we are back together face to face in the classroom. I will strive each and every day to make this a positive learning experience for all.  It is my goal to offer many opportunities for scholars to develop their skills so that they can become independent learners who think critically and creatively for themselves.  Your child's education is very important to me and I will need your support.
