Parent Family Liaison

My name is Karla Baltodano. I am the new Parent and Family Liaison . I worked as a preschool teacher in a Head Start program in Contra Costa County for over 8 years. I am always interested in meeting new people and learning about their language and culture. I have a son who is in college. I am also blessed to have my mother living with us. I am from Costa Rica and I graduated from University with a major in education. I am bilingual; English and Spanish.I am excited to work with the staff and the parents at Height and Los Medanos Elementary schools since I enjoy working with children and parents. I am looking forward to meet the parents as well the children and I will do my best to meet  every family's needs as much as possible to help their children to have success at school.
