The mission of the Pittsburg Adult Education Center is to create an engaging learning environment that prepares students for global competitiveness. All staff work closely together to assure that our diverse community of lifelong learners receive a rigorous academic program, cutting edge career training and marketable workforce skills. PAEC’s Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will participate in Program Orientations, Job Fairs, Job Center, Transition program presentations, workshops and will receive support in accessing multiple resources that will help them in the pursuit of continued education and career growth.
Students will achieve their intended academic and career goal by earning their high school diploma, GED, Industry Recognized Certification, course completion certificate, ESL level completion certificates, CASAS measured learning gains and passing grades.
Students will use technology to perform tasks related to job search, take tests, research, complete assignments and communicate.
Students will obtain and retain employment.
