• The Heights staff works hard to provide a rigorous differentiated curriculum, as well as a variety of activities to build community spirit. There are three school rules: Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Respectful.  This umbrella of expectations is coupled with restorative justice practices.  We believe in building character and teaching lifeskills that will enable our students to be successful academically and socially. Heights is excited to partner with Soul Shoppe to help facilitate a common language among our students, families, and staff.  Monthly assemblies are held for each grade level by Soul Shoppe to teach a new lifeskill, classroom activities follow up the assembly, parent letters are sent home, and student "Peace Makers" on the playground help restore the harm by walking students through conversations.
