Hello Families!

I am so happy to be your child’s teacher. I began my teaching career at Highlands Elementary in 1988. This is my 8th year teaching Transitional Kindergarten, my favorite grade! I also taught 2nd and 3rd grade. I received my BA and teaching credentials from St. Mary’s College. I enjoy working with young children in their academic and social development. I want school to be an exciting place that they enjoy and can be creative.

I am a mother of two grown children. We enjoy spending time with each other and traveling together. I also enjoy art, nature, and hiking with my dog. I am so glad I chose education as my career and am able to work with and support your child.
