CELL PHONE & ELECTRONIC DEVICE POLICY
Students are not permitted to have cell phones and/or eletronic devices on campus. The Counseling Office has a phone available for student use if there is an emergency.
Electronic signaling devices, beepers, listening/recording devices will not be permitted to use at school. Education code Reference 48901.5. Students who violate this policy will be subject to the following action:
- First Offense: Confiscate item, call parent and return to the parent.
- Second Offense: Confiscate item, call parent, keep the rest of the month, return to parent.
- Third Offense: Confiscate the phone, call parent, keep the rest of the semester, return to parent.
Hillview will not be responsible for replacement or repair if a cell phone or electronic device is lost or stolen!!
