Coping and Social Emotional Supports During Shelter-In-Place and COVID-19
Social emotional supports for students and families have always been a priority in PUSD. Current changes at home and in the community due to COVID-19 and the need to shelter in place and to practice social distancing can benefit from finding new ways to cope and support our children, youth and families. Information about key PUSD Social Emotional Supports programs, services and resources can be found on the Social Emotional Supports webpage (https://www.pittsburg.k12.ca.us/Domain/76).
In addition, below are downloadable and printable files with ideas for helping children, youth and families cope in a time of uncertainty, to express their feelings and concerns through creative activities and to help them better understand and better cope with changes we are all experiencing together.
