Mrs. Buenafe

Hello parents and students!  My name is Leticia Buenafe.  I have been an Educator for 30 years.  I taught preschool for 7 years and worked at Pittsburg Unified School District for 23 years.  At Pittsburg Unified, I have taught 6^th grade at Central Junior High, and at Parkside Elementary I taught 4th grade, 4^th/5^th grade combo, and 2^nd grade.  I grew up here in Pittsburg, graduated from Pittsburg High School, and graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.  My goal and dream were to come back to Pittsburg, to teach and give back to the community that I love.  It is an honor and privilege to be teaching the wonderful students in Pittsburg.  

Hola padres y estudiantes! Me llamo Leticia Buenafe. He sido educador durante 30 años. Enseñé preescolar durante 7 años y trabajé en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Pittsburg durante 23 años. En Pittsburg Unified, enseñé 6to grado en Central Junior High, y en Parkside Elementary enseñé combo de 4to, 4to / 5to grado y 2do grado. Crecí aquí en Pittsburg, me gradué de Pittsburg High School y me gradué de Saint Mary’s College en Moraga. Mi objetivo y sueño era regresar a Pittsburg, enseñar y retribuir a la comunidad que amo. Es un honor y un privilegio enseñar a los maravillosos estudiantes de Pittsburg.
