The Human Resources Department's primary goal is to select and retain outstanding staff members. We seek employees who wish to invest their workday supporting and preparing children for their future. We offer competitive salaries, a strong health insurance plan, which includes dental, life and vision insurance to all full-time employees. Signing Bonus: PUSD offers $5,000 signing bonuses for hard to fill full-time teaching assignments in math, science, reading specialist, special education, and dual immersion. Speech-language pathologists are also eligible for a $5,000 signing bonus. In addition, PUSD offers a $5,000 Giving Back and Celebrating Success signing bonus for new full-time teachers employed after January 2016 that are high school graduates of Pittsburg Unified School District. Individuals who receive signing bonuses must remain in the District for a minimum of two (2) years. All applications must be submitted through Edjoin.org.
