Sandra Davenport
Hello! I’m Sandy Davenport. I have been with Pittsburg Adult Education Center (PAEC) since 2011. Thanks to OTAN, I’ve gotten interested in technology for teaching, and I’m writing my own blended class in Basic Accounting Terminology and Theory which I hope to teach soon.
I love teaching our immigrant population. One could not ask for a more interesting and dedicated group of students. I have been teaching High Intermediate ESL since I began at PAEC. It’s a wonderful level to teach because students are speaking well and are working on expressing their thoughts in writing.
On the personal side, I’m a passionate knitter, reader, and traveler. I love cats and dogs, and I’m worried about climate change.
