To students and parents:
I know this year is an unusual one. I hope that soon, we all can meet in the non-virtual classroom – SAFELY. This year, we will start all classes with a syllabus for the “virtual” year, and once we can transition to hybrid and in – class time there will be an update to reflect the newer expectations.
A little bit of academic background on me: I teach electronics, introduction to (engineering) design, computer science, and the robotics class here at Pittsburg High. I also have a background in math as well. I am also the CTE Department chair, so sometimes my "afterschool" time is extremely limited due to meeting commitments and robotics.
For my non-school related pursuits, most of those are cancelled, right now, but:
1. I am pursuing a Master's degree
2. I am also a professional performer (dancing and historical re-enactment), normally at Dicken's Fair (based at the cow palace, SF/Daly City)
3. I am owned by 2 adorable cats - we all know dogs have owners and cats have staff. :)
4. I am an active member of a maker!space called Obtainium Works, which is best known for building an amazing 3 story Victorian house on wheels for Burning Man.
