• Hello! My name is Keri Strahan and I am in my third year of teaching Fifth Grade at Heights Elementary school! I went to Azusa Pacific University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology! I continued my education there and received my Multiple Subjects teaching credential and my Masters of Arts in Education!

My teaching philosophy is to make sure every student that comes into my classroom leaves a more well rounded individual both academically and socially! I am extremely passionate about working with this age group and I want all my students to be successful and have a memorable Fifth grade year! To accomplish this goal I believe in a complete partnership with parents! I consider it a huge honor to walk with your students through the school year and I do not take that lightly!

Fifth grade is such a transformative year in the sense that it is truly our job to prepare them for Junior High. As curriculum picks up in rigor and we incorporate different projects into our learning I will be communicating with the families so that every child can be successful! I am so excited to have your student in this class and looking forward to watching them grow and progress as we journey through Fifth grade together!
