Dear Families,

It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as the principal of Heights Elementary.  I have been an educator in Pittsburg since 2001 at Pittsburg High and Hillview Junior High.  I bring a secondary perspective to my experience as a principal. Understanding where students are headed gives me a sense of purpose to provide our students with a rigorous education that prepares them to be college and career ready. It takes more than just the Heights staff to accomplish this feat, we need a true partnership with parents and students.  It is essential to share what we are doing and why, as well as setting goals and celebrating our students’ success.  Join us at the many opportunities to learn how to be a part of your child’s education by attending the many parent classes, Principal Coffees, Awards Assemblies, Family Nights, and success celebrations to find out more specifically what you can do to.  I looking forward to partnering with you this year.
