Parent/Family workshops on Loss & Grief—Due to the current pandemic and state of our nation, it is common to experience feelings of loss and/or grief. Come learn about what and how loss affects us, how even minor changes can lead to feelings of loss and grief, how to live and thrive in spite of fear, loss, and grief, and finally, tools your family can use to cope with loss and grief.
March 28, 2019. Our first Hillview & PUSD Alumni College Night was an amazing success! With over 100 people in attendance, our wonderful panel of Hillview & PUSD Alumni gave honest answers, great tips and advice. There were some really great questions from the audience, both students and parents, which help give more insight to the whole process. We'd like to thank Jose Garcia, Lilia Sanchez, Aaron Hudson, Isabelle Leber and Alyssa Aragon for taking time out of their busy lives to share their experiences, decisions, honest opinions, what they learned along the way with key points being advice about the SAT & ACT tests, funding and giving hope to families just starting to think about higher education.
Our Hillview Parents and Families are an important part of student success. The goal is to create connections and work together to support the students so they can thrive while learning & practicing the habits of achieving academic success as well as building the skills to effectively communicate with their peers and adults. We believe when students are given support from school and family they have a better foundation on which to lead a more well-balanced life.
