Thank you all for your patience, I hope everyone is doing well. Below is a very short description of the worked assigned for this week.
All assignments are found on the McGraw-Hill app, which is reached through CLEVER. Please email me if students are unable to "submit work completed", in other words if they are unable to take a picture and upload the assignment by the due date... an email must be sent by the student and/or parent before 8pm Sunday night.
6th Grade (5th Period)
7th Grade (1,3,4 & 6 Period)
7th Grade Advanced (2nd Period)
Thank you all for your patience during this time I hope this information is helpful.
Parents have emailed and asked about completed work and what to do with it. Keep it, email it to me as an attachment if you have scanning abiltiy. I will be communicating with administration and other math teachers on how they are "collecting work"
Clever - Every student should be logging into clever if they have the ability to. Please use the I-ready app and the Textbook app (McGraw Hill). There are assigned lessons for each level on both portals.
Textbook work - Students may always use the textbook for daily lessons, see below for suggested chapters and lessons.
6th Grade: Chapter 8-5 through 8-7 and review Ch.4 material (lessons 3&4). After all the lessons are done in chapter 8 is done, feel free to move on to chapter 9.
7th Grade Regular: Chapter 7 can be completed in full (pacing guides move us on pretty quickly), chapter 8-1 through 8-5. A lesson per day is a good pace, however some lessons may take 2 or 3 days for complete understanding.
7th Grade Accelerated: Chapter 12 geometry, start with lesson 1 and try a lesson per day. Remember to have a good understanding before moving on.
Lastly, a reminder to use the CLEVER platform. I do not see many students using the district's online platform. You can download handouts for students to do form these platforms.
Please to email with questions and STAY SAFE
