Greetings! 

My name is Mr. Louie and I teach 8th grade science! This is my 6th year at MLK and I am excited to be guiding our scholars. I philosophically believe scholars should learn science through first-hand experiences. My goal as a teacher is to provide meaningful experiences that will continue to impact their understanding of science far beyond my classroom. Outside of the classroom you can find me on the rockwall! 

During this time of distance learning we will be using google classroom as our main platform. You can connect to your google classes through clever. 

In addition to teaching science at MLKJJHS, I am the the club advisor for the following clubs : Anime Club, Hispanic Dance Club, Environmental Club, and Adventure Club (soon to be re-established). Interested? Please contact about how you can join! 

Last but not least I am the MLKJJHS Head Volleyball Coach. Coaching volleyball has become a passion of mine and I look forward to working with our Tigers for the upcoming season. If you are interested in playing, please contact me and begin training now as there is limited space on the team!
