Mrs. Christensen has been teaching since 1998. She began her teaching career at Oakley Elementary teaching 2nd graders. She has spent every year since teaching at Los Medanos Elementary. She has taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade.
Mrs. Christensen comes from a family of teachers. Her father was a teacher at Liberty Union High School for 40 years. She loves teaching and children. Teaching is her passion and she can’t imagine doing anything else more rewarding or fulfilling. She loves to see children learn and grow and then come back and visit her. She believes once a child is in her class then the child is forever in her heart.
Mrs. Christensen has been married to her best friend and husband since August 29, 1992. Her other best friend is her sister Brandy. Family is very important. She is very lucky to have her own family, classroom family and school family. Los Medanos Elementary is a great community of teachers, children and parents!
