Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the CDC is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus that was first detected in China and which has been detected in locations internationally, including in the United States. The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).

Pittsburg Unified School District has dismissed school for the rest of the school year. We take seriously our responsibility to keep students and schools safe and protected. PUSD will keep our families informed about COVID-19 and the school dismissal via our regular communication channels: autodialers, emails, text, District website (under "Latest News"), and Facebook. Parents, please make sure your most up-to-date contact information is in our database. If your contact information has changed, please notify your child's school so we have the correct information on file.
