Foothill Elementary A K-5 Bilingual/Cross-Cultural School

Foothill Elementary is making big strides! Our new API is 751. We would like to thank our staff, students, parents and the community for working together as a team with one goal in mind: increase student achievement. We are looking forward to this new school year and believe that our next gain will get us even closer to our goal of reaching and exceeding 800 on the API. Foothill staff is focused this year on infusing writing, which is our school wide goal, throughout the academic day. We believe that students need to be outstanding writers to not only express themselves more clearly, but to apply the writing skills in all other subjects. Our laser like focus on data and individualized attention will allow us to help each student at their level and challenge them to achieve higher levels. Systematic intervention will be used to assist, identify and focus on those students who need more specific and individualized academic assistance. Data teams and SMART goals will lead us through this path of success. Foothill scholars, we WILL excel!
