It’s that time of year again! If you would like to change health plans, add or remove dependents, now is the time to make those changes. Employees already enrolled in a health plan should have received a packet of information from CalPERS regarding upcoming changes in coverage. You can request the 2013 Health Plan Summary by sending the postcard from that packet to CalPERS. For all other employees, a limited number of packets are available in the Benefits Office. (See information on new rates below.)
***WHAT’S NEW***
· Sutter Delta Health will now be covered under the Blue Shield NetValue plan effective January 1, 2013. This plan also covers the John Muir network and Hills Physician group. If you currently see a doctor in any of these networks, you may want to consider switching to the Blue Shield NetValue plan to benefit from the lower premiums. You will continue to receive the same level of coverage regardless of the Blue Shield plan you are in. If you do not want to make any changes to your health plan, no action is necessary on your part.
· The PERS Select PPO plan is available to all employees effective January 1, 2013.
