Hello Hillview Family–
On September 2nd the Hillview Bands will begin a Box Tops for Education homeroom contest. Box Tops are the little pink coupons you find on many products that you buy every day: Cherrio’s, Ziploc baggies, Land o’Lakes butter, crescent rolls, Avery binders and labels, etc. Please help your child by clipping the box tops and sending them in to their homeroom class (1st period). Every other week we will collect and count the box tops and post the results on the Box Tops bulletin board in the 100 hall. At the end of the Semester, January 22nd, we will do a final count and the homeroom class in each grade level with the most Box Tops will win a 60 Warrior Cards & a day of FREE DRESS! Our first collection will take place Friday, September 26th.
We encourage you to visit the Box
Tops website at www.boxtops4education.com to view a
list of products that have Box Tops. We also encourage you to create your own
account on that website and select Hillview Junior High as the school you
support. They frequently have contests where schools can win Box Tops and they
also have a section where you can shop online and earn “e-Box Tops” with items
that you buy online. Every Box Top is worth 10 cents….every 50 Box Tops are
worth $5. They really adds up and mean real cash to our Hillview Bands! Last year's Box Top drive generated almost $700!
